The recycling industry is facing major challenges: More and more materials have to be processed. Particularly problematic is the dependence on cumbersome special machines that are optimized for only one type of material, such as wood, concrete or scrap metal. A change of material often requires complicated conversions or even the replacement of entire machines. This leads to downtime and high costs, as special trucks have to run for many machines.

The VALUE PHANTOM

WERT GmbH from Fambach provides a remedy with the flexible, mobile multi-material shredder WERT PHANTOM. The compact machine combines the functions of several specialized devices. Thanks to a shaft quick-change system, it can be used for a wide variety of materials, including construction waste, wood and light scrap. The change on the construction site takes only 30 minutes and does not require special tools or the dismantling of surrounding assemblies.

The technical feature of the WERT PHANTOM lies in its modular design. The shredding shafts can be used on both sides – a simple rotation is enough to significantly extend their service life. A mechanical screen size adjustment system allows the result to be precisely matched to the desired grain size of the material, without the need for expensive hydraulic systems. The machine is easy to maintain, as all important components are easily accessible. Transport in a standard container is uncomplicated and possible worldwide.

Thought for the future

Another special feature of the WERT PHANTOM is its environmentally friendly engine. The drive meets the strict requirements of EU Stage V and thus significantly reduces emissions and noise pollution. This makes environmentally friendly use possible even in sensitive areas such as cities or residential areas, without having to compromise on performance.

After the market launch in September 2023, 20 of these machines are now in use by customers. Especially in Europe, where strict environmental regulations and sustainability goals apply, the flexible and low-emission machine is in demand. Possible locations include demolition companies, recycling yards and construction projects where materials have to be processed directly on site.
