The path from idea to investment-ready start-up is no coincidence, but the result of a functioning innovation ecosystem. The TRIP Decision Day is an example of how this process is organized in Thuringia.
The start-ups in the current TRIP Class presented their business models to a jury of experts from the Thuringia Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research, EY, beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH and Ostwerk GmbH – with the aim of taking the next step towards investment readiness.
Five start-ups, one common goal
With PIKES GmbH, Active Medical Xcellence GmbH (AMX), OhMyV GmbH, iACT and GRAUCH Vakuummesstechnik, five teams have come out on top. They exemplify the diversity of the Thuringian start-up ecosystem – from medical technology and digital applications to industrial technologies. They are all united by the ambition to develop viable business models from innovative developments and bring them to market.
Visible decisions in the ecosystem
The decision on the TRIP Final Class was announced as part of the Community Opening of our Foundation for Innovation in Thuringia. This makes the Decision Day part of a larger context: an ecosystem that accompanies start-ups from the early phase to the investor approach.
From the program to the next level
With their entry into the TRIP Final Class, the next phase begins for the teams: the targeted development of investment readiness.
The focus is on:
- the further development of the business model
- Preparation for investor:inside approach
- Honest feedback from workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions
- sharpening the pitch
A central milestone here is the Investor Days Thuringia stage, where the startups present their solutions to investors and the innovation ecosystem.
