CHII 2026: New Opportunities for Thuringia Through International Cooperation

June 26, 2026 – Jena: The Thuringia Foundation for Technology, Innovation, and Research, as a Thuringian network partner of the “Kinder forschen” Foundation, organizes an annual regional STEM Activity Day and invites daycare centers, after-school care centers, and elementary schools from Thuringia to participate. Tomorrow’s innovations begin with today’s questions

On June 26, 2026, about 150 children from Thuringian daycare centers and elementary schools explored scientific and technical concepts at the Imaginata in Jena during the MINTmachTag.

June 19–21, 2026 – Erfurt: The Thuringia Foundation for Technology, Innovation, and Research, in collaboration with the MIT Club of Germany e. V., hosted the 11th “Science and Engineering Program for Teachers Thuringia, Kurzname SEPT Thuringia” conference. Around 100 STEM teachers from all over Thuringia gained insights into current science and research through specialized presentations and interactive workshops, and developed new ideas for innovative STEM instruction.
