Dr. Sven Günther stands for innovation and STEM education in Thuringia. He has been helping to shape the Thuringian innovation ecosystem for over 20 years. From his training as a mechanical engineer with a high school diploma, a job as an assembly fitter to a degree in business administration in Jena and a doctorate in Bielefeld, he has always sought new challenges. He started at STIFT in 2001 as an assistant to the Executive Board, later headed up projects and became Managing Director in 2009. He has been a member of the foundation’s Executive Board since 2019.
