Youth business workshops (JUW) give young people the opportunity to get involved in projects in real Thuringian companies and to try out handicraft and technical STEM professions. They create spaces in which young people can gain their own experience, gain perspectives on key future fields and develop innovation skills – in a low-threshold, practical way and beyond classic educational formats.
The youth business workshops make a sustainable contribution to the development of skilled workers in Thuringia. By working with local schools, entrepreneurs can make direct contact with potential young professionals. The project makes the future prospects of computer science, engineering, technology and natural sciences tangible, thus strengthening the regional spirit of innovation.
