No progress without innovation – innovative start-up projects are essential for solving social, economic and ecological challenges. In order to strengthen Thuringia’s innovative capacity and promote startups in a targeted manner, the ThEx innovative project accelerates innovative projects in the areas of business model and strategy development as well as financing and market entry. As part of this mission, the project is responsible for the seven-month startup accelerator “Thuringian Regional Innovation Program“, guiding innovators towards “Investment Readyness”. ThEx innovative is responsible for the organization of the Investor Days Thuringia, which have evolved into Germany’s annual innovation hotspot. Through the cross-project networking of founders, ThEx innovative strengthens the Thuringian startup community and the entire innovation ecosystem.

Coaching and consulting

We are Thuringia’s central point of contact for innovative and technology-driven start-ups. We offer one-on-one coaching for business models, financing and market entry strategy. In addition, ThEx innovative is responsible for the seven-month startup accelerator Thuringian Regional Innovation Program TRIP.

Regional Trips

Startups need a strong community and a robust startup ecosystem. Our goal is to accelerate innovation and foster synergies and collaboration among like-minded people. With Regio TRIPs, we offer add-on formats for regional players in the Thuringian startup ecosystem and and extend our offering to teams in the pre-startup phase.

Whether it’s a university start-up network, technology and start-up centres, start-up idea competitions, coworking spaces or innovation clusters – together with you, we complement your local offer and further develop your innovative business ideas together with your programme participants.

Start-up bonus

Our coaches act as official companions of the Thuringian start-up bonus, where you can secure funding of up to €42,000 per team member. Take advantage of these synergies and benefit from support on your path to founding a company from a single source.

The start-up bonus “Gründungsprämie” is part of the bundled innovation promotion in the “Thuringia MOTIVation – move to innovation” programme.
