As part of the foundation's purpose, we support projects of Thuringian companies, Thuringian universities and research institutions in particular
The foundation’s funding aims to strengthen and network technology activities in Thuringia. In principle, companies, universities, research institutions, networks, chambers and associations as well as other educational institutions can be funded. Support is primarily provided on a pro rata basis, i.e. the applicant must prove that he has made his own contribution, that there is an industrial participation or that he has been financed via alternative funding options.
The funding is provided:
- on non-repayable grants
- in the form of low-interest loans
- within the framework of a guarantee or
- as a combination of these possibilities.
The funds are primarily made available for projects that cannot be funded in public funding programmes. The funding is intended to complement the existing funding programmes.
