Die Nationale Initiative „MINT Zukunft schaffen!“ setzt sich gemeinsam mit einem regionalen Partnernetzwerk dafür ein, MINT-Bildung in Deutschland quantitativ und qualitativ auszubauen. Ziel ist es, mehr junge Menschen für MINT-Berufe zu begeistern und die MINT-Kompetenzen in der Gesellschaft zu fördern. Hierzu arbeiten wir als Teil der Initiative MINT Thüringen eng mit Unternehmen, Schulen, Verbänden und anderen Organisationen zusammen und vergeben die Auszeichnungen “MINT-freundliche Schule” und “Digitale Schule”.
The award of the nationwide “STEM-friendly school” label is intended to promote schools with an already recognizable, fundamental STEM focus.
The award-winning schools send out a clear signal: STEM and digitalization do not just belong in the classroom – they are attitude, profile and future topic. In this way, they are role models, encouragers and drivers of a learning culture that strengthens and inspires young people in Thuringia.
The “Digital School” award honors schools that pursue innovative approaches to digitization and computer science. With pedagogical approaches, qualification of teachers, smart networking, innovative concepts and contemporary equipment, the institutions are shaping the school concept of the future.
The gala reception of MINT Thüringen honored actors who, through their passionate commitment, inspire children and young people throughout Thuringia for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.
