Our Thuringian Regional Innovation Program, or TRIP for short, started its sixth round today with 10 innovative startups.
At the kick-off event “Start Your TRIP” at Bandhaus Erfurt in Erfurt, the applicants met the TRIP team around Olga Röder and Andreas Sonnefeld as well as experts who will develop them in the coming months until they are ready for investment. The startups presented their innovative start-up concepts in a pitch and then found out who will be part of this year’s TRIP class.
Our board member Christiane Kilian presented a total of 10 startups with the ticket for the TRIP Class 2024/25: “With the Thuringian Regional Innovation Program, we accelerate business ideas where they need it best. This gives the prospective entrepreneurs the opportunity to further develop their innovative business models in the direction of investment readiness. Now an exciting and challenging time full of inspiration, impulses and further development begins for the selected startups.”

What’s next
In the six-month TRIP class, the business models of the young companies are further developed together with experts, they gain access to a broad network of investors, companies and innovators and thus have the chance to test prototypes and models. The aim of startup funding is investment readiness, the further development of startups so that they become interesting for financing investors.
We wish the startups every success in their TRIP into business start-ups and towards investment readiness!
